Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Analyst to join their Core Finance Team. This role is crucial in ensuring that suppliers are paid on time, allowing the business to run smoothly without disruption.
About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and reconciling statements to support financial operations. You’ll work closely with both finance and non-finance teams, ensuring effective communication and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments.
2. Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries.
3. Communicating clearly with finance and non-finance staff to ensure smooth workflows.
4. Identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate.
5. Taking ownership of issues, identifying solutions, and preventing recurrence.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. Fluent in written and spoken English.
2. Previous Accounts Payable experience in a large company.
3. Ability to work to strict deadlines and collaborate with a team to achieve them.
4. Strong analytical and process skills, capable of handling large volumes of data.
5. Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
7. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while managing ad hoc projects.
Beneficial Skills:
1. Experience with Medius software and D365.
2. Experience working with an Accounts Payable and ERP system.
3. Strong Excel skills.
4. Faculty of Economics qualifications.
