Why this could be a great role for you… This role is well suited to those with an interest in the political landscape and/or improving heath and social care services. It offers an excellent insight to how government works and the interplay with arm’s length bodies, as well as providing an in depth understanding of regulatory issues and the impact they can have on people using health and care services. The role offers an opportunity to work on high profile issues, collaborating with colleagues both internally and externally to help drive forward key CQC and government priorities. The role will suit someone with ambition to work within the government/civil service or similar roles in other arm’s length and third sector organisations, but the skills and experience you will gain do not limit the post holder to roles only in those areas. The role requires someone who works well under pressure with the ability to act quickly to changing priorities. What you will bring An eye for detail and excellent organisation and prioritisations skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
