Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,437 to £26,065 per annum. Plus generous benefits including:

About the role
The Human Resources team at York College is a close knit, friendly team, committed to delivering high quality, customer-focused, and efficient support and administrative services to approximately 750 staff members. This dynamic role is both busy and diverse, encompassing tasks such as data entry, word processing, recruitment administration, and addressing a variety of routine HR queries in person, via email, and over the phone.
This role is not suitable for a job share.
About the Person
As this is a customer-facing role, it is essential to have outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. You should be solution oriented, committed to continuous improvement, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. A positive, 'can-do' attitude, combined with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is crucial for success.
Experience from an administration and/or recruitment background would be advantageous.
About the College
We are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more than one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us.
Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses. We are the largest provider of A-Level and vocational programmes for school leavers in the region; we offer nearly 35 A-Level subjects and over 80 vocational courses, including a wide range of T-Level pathways.
