The role will involve working on major Civil Engineering and Construction projects throughout the UK, providing off-site support to the project team, enabling the delivery of technical and practical elements of remediation or site investigation projects. Why the Environmental Engineer position is something you should apply for: Opportunity for career growth within a company that encourages promotion internally The business has been voted best Environmental engineering company in the UK The company has a great ethos and commitment to sustainable practices An amazing office location designed with employee enjoyment in mind You will be responsible for: Preparing Phase 1 Desktop Studies, Phase 2 Interpretative Ground Investigation Reports, Remediation Strategies, MMP’s, Verification Reports and Environmental Permit Applications Management and supervision of ground investigations including trial pit and borehole soil sampling and logging to BS5930:2015, groundwater and gas monitoring Geo-Environmental Engineering on live Remediation and Enabling Works Projects including collection of validation evidence, chemical and geotechnical compliance sampling and testing, material and waste audits, environmental monitoring, sustainability assessments and progress reporting Undertake site environmental monitoring in accordance with Sanctus’s Mobile Plant Environmental Permit or an Environmental Monitoring Plan.
