Description Ensuring all revenue is received on time, including large cash deposits. Weekly reconciliation of sales through to bank receipts. Ensuring all petty cash expenses are in line with company policy. Be a super-user on our EPOS system end of day process - training will be provided Investigating variances with our operations teams. Liaising with IT to resolve systems discrepancies. Advising clients on the use of our EPOS system. Supporting the Management Accounting Team with monthly/annual bank reconciliation. Assisting with year-end audit queries Ad Hoc duties to supporting the Finance Team Profile Someone with experience of retail or EPOS systems, closing an end of day, cashing up etc Experience working in a finance department - preferred but not essential Candidate can have experience of managing a retail store/restaurant or within hospitality and catering and interested in pursuing a career within Finance. Confident communicator as this role involves you acting as trainer/advisor. Problem Solver - candidate must be inquisitive, likes to help others and resolve issues. Attention to detail is key, as you will be dealing with a vast amount of cash and revenue reporting. This position is a weekly routine, but there will be monthly involvement with management accounting and annual support for their statutory audit.
