Barnsley Council have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Early Start, Prevention and Sufficiency to join the team based in Barnsley. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basisand in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £82,401 - £90,415 per annum.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to provide strategic and operational management across our Early Start, Prevention & Sufficiency services. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering services and strategies that promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and families across the borough. The postholder will be a system leader who puts children, young people and families at the heart of service design and delivery. Working hand in hand with partners in education, health, social care and police the key areas of responsibility include early years and childcare services, youth services including youth justice and Family Hubs.
