Procurement Analyst

My client provides purchasing solutions to businesses requiring long-term management and control of their overhead purchasing. Established for 25 years and employing over ninety staff, they are now one of the leading providers of expense reduction services in the UK with customers ranging from £billion turnover PLCs to SMEs and doctors' surgeries.
Procurement Analyst Responsibilities
1. Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
2. Data analysis inputting, price comparison, and sanity checking of analysis within set time frames using Excel and CRM.
3. Use analytical problem-solving skills in providing information/suggestions to Account Managers.
4. Consider and suggest alternative approaches/products to increase potential savings.
5. Ensure the correct process, housekeeping, and information is provided within CRM.
6. Liaise with the Account Management team on analysis and supplier-related queries.
7. Complete any ad-hoc tasks issued by the Procurement Managers.
8. Constantly be driven to make improvements to current working processes.
Requirements
1. Good maths ability.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Good team player.
4. Very good communication skills.
5. Good time management.
6. Ability to spot numerical inaccuracies.
7. Methodical and organised.
8. Process-driven but still able to think outside the box.
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM databases.
10. Ability to self-motivate.
Salary: £24k with *£3k bonus
