Are you seeking a new challenge where you can support adults with severe learning disabilities and complex needs? Do you have experience leading and supporting a team?
Working for an established provider of care and support to adults with profound and severe learning disabilities and complex needs, we are seeking a skilled Senior Support Worker to work within their supported living services.
The role:
* Support and lead a team of Support Workers, providing assistance with rotas, support plans, and risk assessments.
* Provide support in the absence of the manager and handle performance-related tasks, including monitoring absences and support planning.
* Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring all records are accurately produced and up to date.
* Support residents with daily activities and personal care duties.
* Be aware of CQC legislation and standards.
The ideal Candidate:
* Experience working in a similar setting and knowledge of supporting adults with complex needs and severe learning disabilities.
* Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
* Professional and committed, with the ability to work in a person-centred way.
* Flexible to work shifts and on a rota basis, with some on-call duties.
