We're looking for a proactive Tech Procurement Manager on a 9 months fixed term contract to support the growing technology space within our organization.

The Role:
The Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to manage the procurement of technology-related products, services, and software across multiple business areas, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with company budgets and roadmaps. It involves collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to secure timely acquisitions and optimize supplier relationships through favourable contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute large-scale procurement initiatives within the IT and Technology space, delivering strategic sourcing solutions to meet business objectives.
* Oversee spend and visibility control for IT procurement, while expanding influence and control across wider technology areas.
* Drive key procurement priorities, including strategic sourcing, budget management, compliance and risk mitigation, and identifying savings opportunities.
* Manage and deliver on a pipeline of large renewals and projects, while addressing "low-hanging fruit" opportunities to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Support the adoption of new technologies by facilitating procurement processes and driving team readiness, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies and compliance with company policies.
Location:
This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.
The Person:
Key Requirements:
* In-depth knowledge of IT products, services, and software, including licensing agreements, hardware specifications, and cloud technologies.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes, some understanding of contract law, and vendor management.
* Knowledge of Technology trends and advancements in technology procurement strategies.
* Technical Understanding: Solid knowledge of IT & Tech infrastructure and wider technologies to make informed procurement decisions.
* Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities are required for this role from both an internal and external perspective. Developing relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to drive effective commercial change is extremely important for this position.
* Experience in managing large-scale Technology focussed procurement projects, including contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
* Demonstrated experience of being self-sufficient and contributing to strategic decision-making.
* Proven track record of delivering cost savings and driving wider business processes.
