You should have evidence of significant post registration professional practice and experience to undertake and fulfil the key areas for this post. We are looking for nurses who are enthusiastic, motivated and committed to working with young people who may have multiple and complex needs. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have experience in risk assessment and risk management. You will be supported by the CAMHS Urgent Assessment & Intensive Treatment (CUAIT) Team Leader through line management and supervision as well as receiving additional support and supervision from the Senior Nurse for CAMHS. CUAIT provides comprehensive and systemic mental health assessment for young people up to the age of 18, who present in crisis. Some short term follow up for children and young people is also part of the role, as is liaison with other CAMHS clinicians, hospital staff across a range of clinical areas, and wider services for children and young people. You will work alongside the Multidisciplinary Community CAMHS and CAMHS Neuro teams to provide a seamless service whilst maintaining close links with Paediatric Inpatient Service, Skye House (adolescent inpatient), Woodland View (AMH hospital) and Foxgrove (National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service) to facilitate admission and discharge from inpatient services.
