I am currently recruiting for a national organisation based in the Bradford area who are looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join their busy support services team. We are looking £37-£43k for the role with a great benefits package on top. You will be working as part of the internal infrastructure team which is made up of specialist engineers focussing on different tech stacks – this will be a 50/50 project BAU split role. For this role we are looking for individuals with a strong overall background alongside the below skills Proven experience as a Support Engineer, IT Support Specialist, or similar role. Highly organised, able to identify what is important and what is urgent, then prioritise accordingly. Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders, executives, and leaders. Intermediate level user in Microsoft packages especially in Word, Power Point and Excel. Experience in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft environments (AD, Azure AD, Windows Server, GPO, Windows Desktop, SQL). Experience in Milestone and BriefCam applications and infrastructure. Solid networking knowledge – firewalls, LAN configuration, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users. You will be heavily involved in some really exciting projects as part of the team.
