SEN TA - Bury (BL9)
Monarch Education are working in association with a local primary school in the Bury area. The school is looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to work full time with an autistic (ASC) pupil in Year 3 (LKS2). This role will be commencing in April and will be working with the pupil on a 1:1 basis, as well as providing general classroom assistance when needed until the end of the academic year 2025.
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Have experience with Autism - either professionally or personally e.g. a family member
* Be resilient and confident with challenging behaviour
* Have a nurturing personality and be non-judgemental
* Be able to follow instructions and be pro-active
* Adhere to the school safeguarding policies
* Have a passion to work with children
* Previous experience working in a Primary School is desired but not essential
Requirements For SEN Teaching Assistant
* Have previous experience of working with special educational needs or in care
* Able to travel daily to Bury (BL9) area
* Have a child DBS registered to the update service or be willing to complete one
* Have the right to work in the UK.
