We are looking to recruit personable, organised and caring caseworkers. You will be an assistant with the tenancy support of individualsing out of prison on the bail system. Improve the lives of service users by co-ordinating the provision of direct housing related support and housing management services by working with area operational and central support teams and liaising with a range of external agencies and partners. There may also be a requirement to work on your own in themunity and/ or service setting.Please note, you will be working with individuals who areing out on bail from the prison system.
Your new role
Working closely with the residents to manage their needs. This will involve liaising with other agencies to help the people you support keep their place within the property through supporting their finances and promoting their independence. You will bepleting activities to promote and build self-esteem, whilst making sure the residents are adhering to bail agreements and tenancy agreements. Typical shifts will be 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (one evening and one Saturday every 6 weeks).
What you'll need to succeed.
You will need at least 6 months experience in a social care role within the last 2 years, desirable experience in the mental health field, dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, helping people with housing and their benefits. Please note, driving is essential for this role.
