Maxwell Bond are working with a company who are now growing at a rapid rate and are therefore offering this opportunity for an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to work onshore in Southeast England & North Scotland. The role will involve travelling around the area to different sites and occasionally you may have to stay away. Proven experience in a similar technician role within renewable energy or wind energy industry. Demonstrate ability to supervise meetings/teams/projects with an organised and methodical approach. Experience in team building, motivating, and building employee satisfaction & development. Great spoken and written communication skills in English. A proven track record in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, with good solid evidence of fault finding and problem solving. You should be able to deliver your work to a high standard and in a professional manner in line with your experience. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, regularly and in a professional manner with managers, clients and contractors as appropriate. Candidates are required to pass a RUK wind industry standard medical assessment to ensure they are fit and able to work at heights and perform the role of wind turbine technician. Be willing and able to travel on a regular basis, including nights away from home if required. Computer and tablet literate and able to use Microsoft Office- outlook etc. Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions. Full UK Driving Licence for travel to different wind turbine sites as required.
