Full time Learning Support Assistant Bridgend CF34 Pay £12.90 per hour £83.85 per day We are looking for both experienced Learning Support Officers and individuals who are looking for a change in career to work in local primary school. The ideal candidate will be a positive person and must be confident working with children. Being able to build a rapport with both pupils and colleagues is essential so showing this in interview and vetting stages is very important. You will be required to work in different age group classes within the primary school, all previously mentioned skills should hopefully aid you to be able to adapt to age groups. You do not require any specific qualifications initially, but we will provide some CPD courses to enable you to learn more through the vetting process. I am really keen to speak to anyone who has experience in an education setting or is looking to get a start in the sector. Responsibilities Ensuring pupils are engaging in all sessions. To plan and implement appropriate techniques to deal with challenging behaviour in pupils where appropriate. To take part in relevant training and courses as required.
