Role Overview:
You will support operational and compliance reporting across our entire organisation, including all HR reporting queries as well as our other people systems. We balance our day-to-day priorities with project work which will require liaising with users, leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency in our reporting.
With a focus on development and insight, in collaboration with broader teams, you will develop and maintain systems and data solutions (and supporting process documentation) to help enable data-driven decision-making and business growth.
We also own and support the Core HR people system, Workday, which allows Colleagues and Leaders to record personal information about themselves and their team, with confidence that their data is correct and safe.
Insights delivery - Effectively communicate relevant insights from data using compelling visualisations and narratives.
Continuous Improvement - Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and effectiveness and data quality improvement, and drive initiatives to enhance insight development and delivery.
Reporting - Developing reports in our Workday system to analyse data, perform trend analysis and identify data discrepancies and become an active part of the Workday Community.
Data - Integrate data from multiple systems to support reporting and analytics on all areas of HR to help the business better manage their workforce resources.
Modelling - Producing model data sets in creative ways to answer business questions.
Collaboration - Partnering with internal stakeholders on operational reporting needs, on a regular and ad hoc basis.
Data Governance - Promote and enforce data governance best practices, data quality standards, and data security protocols within the team.
Compliance - Ensure that data products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in the insurance sector.
Skills we would love you to have
Ability to analyse draw insight from complex sets of data.
Experience of Workday, Power BI and/or delivering people insights would be hugely desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organised, methodical with a great attention to detail.
Systems thinker with the ability to collaborate and approach problem solving, taking into account the overall system as well as its individual parts.
Strong relationship building skills with the ability to proactively identify improvements.
