We’re looking for a passionate UK Audit Senior Manager, Information Systems (13 Months FTC) to join our Corporate Audit team for 13 Months. The UK Audit Senior Manager – Information Systems plays a critical role in managing the audit process for Information System reviews in the UK and US. This role will work collaboratively with the Head of Audit for Digital and Information Systems to deliver the established mandate, governance and corporate responsibilities ensuring strategic alignment of the Corporate Audit function with Audit and Risk Committee expectations.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
What You'll Do
* Manage and coordinate IT audits and IT programme audits, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of audit testing plans and reports.
* Conduct first-level reviews of audit plans, workpapers, and reports to maintain accurate and independent assurance.
* Support audit teams by defining objectives, scope, and testing methodologies, and sharing detailed findings and recommendations.
* Supervise and mentor Senior Auditors and Auditors, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
* Support coordination of audit administration activities, including staffing, scheduling, budget management, and stakeholder coordination.
* Foster an equitable and inclusive environment that enables individuals to maximize their potential and contribute fully to the team.
* Achieve annual goals, KPIs, and budget targets through effective resource management and meeting stakeholder requirements.
* Coordinate with other control functions to ensure consistency, alignment, and leverage across the organization.
* Collaborate with the Global Head of Audit and Corporate Audit Leadership Team to develop the team's overall strategy, determine audit coverage, and implement a risk-based approach.
* Uphold Corporate Audit Leadership Qualities, Culture, and Behaviors, representing and promoting Corporate Audit positively while building value with business stakeholders.
What You'll Have
* An undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, "STEM" Majors or Business Administration) is required. A CPA/CA, CFA, CIA, CISA or other professional certification is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, risk and controls standards and SOx compliance requirements.
* Strong understanding of formal programme management methodologies and techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
* Broad exposure and experience in and comprehensive understanding of internal audit, internal controls, and risk management.
* Ability to synthesize and communicate complex audit topics to both business stakeholders and Corporate Audit team members.
* Excellent listening, verbal, written and presentation communication skills – interactive listening, able to deliver complex messages, build strong working relationship across the business and influence others, including executive level stakeholders.
* Strong project management skills and/or track record of leading multiple teams and audit projects simultaneously.
* Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
* Ability to use data and a cogent problem-solving methodology in decision making and impact assessment. Demonstrates problem solving skills in a complex environment, including demonstrating logical and sophisticated analytical thought processes, interpretive thinking, complex judgement.
