Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Registered Professional to take on the role as Ward Manager for our inpatient ward at Bishops Castle Community Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for leading inpatient care services, working in conjunction with therapy, non-clinical, and corporate service leads to ensure that we provide the very highest staff and patient experience, supporting best clinical outcomes.

Main duties of the job
1. Provide effective clinical leadership and management to lead and motivate the team.
2. Promote and monitor quality, safe and effective practice.
3. Enhance the patient/client experience.
4. Contribute to the delivery of the organisation's objectives.
The post consists primarily of clinical care delivery and leadership, however there will be an element of managerial duties as the Deputy Ward Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the care of patients, managing and supporting staff and deputising for the Ward Manager.

* Effective Level 1 Registration with NMC
