We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Psychologist to join the Children’sPsychology team atPoole Hospital.Our small psychology teamwork closely withourpaediatricconsultants,nursesand other allied healthprofessionalsto support bothoutpatientsand admissionsThe successful candidatewill be an integralmemberof thediabetes and oncologyteamstohelpassess andsupportthe emotional well-being of the children and their families/carers.
Clinical supervision will be providedand the post holder will be fully supported if the post is taken as a preceptorship role.This opportunity is suited to someone who is creative and innovative and candemonstrateexcellentclinical,communication skills whilstdemonstratingcompassion and flexibility within this busy service.

Base Location : Poole Hospital
To provide a specialist direct clinical service to young people and families in the paediatric oncology and diabetes service
To provide a specialist indirect clinical service through consultation, supervision, teaching and training, for colleagues within the paediatric diabetes and oncology teams
To undertake appropriate research, audit and evaluation.
