Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care during night shifts, including emergency and critical care management. The role involves ensuring the welfare of animals admitted overnight and supporting the day team with handovers. You’ll be part of a collaborative, professional, and supportive team that is committed to delivering outstanding veterinary care.
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £45,000 FTE (Pro-rated salary based on schedule)
Contract: Part-Time, Night Shift
Working Schedule Options
* Option 1: 7 nights on, 14 nights off – Average of 25.66 hours per week, £30,000 pro-rated
* Option 2: 5 nights on, 10 nights off – Average of 27.5 hours per week, £32,000 pro-rated
Working hours will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including weekends, with a 1-hour break each shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional nursing care during the night shift.
* Provide support for emergency and critical care cases.
* Ensure animal welfare and comfort overnight.
* Take part in client consultations and provide excellent service.
* Maintain accurate patient records and provide handovers for the day team.
