General Repairs Surveyor
* Hourly Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)
* Location: North London
* Job Type: Hybrid (Onsite/Home/Office), Temp to Perm
* Start: Immediate
We are actively seeking a General Repairs Surveyor for an immediate start in the North London area. The role is initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after 3 months.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct inspections across various properties to identify repair needs.
* Prioritise repair work and coordinate schedules to ensure timely completion.
* Oversee contractors to ensure repair work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with regulations.
* Ensure all repair activities adhere to health and safety guidelines.
* Provide professional advice on property repairs and maintenance strategies.
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the structural integrity and safety of properties.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, repair schedules, and completed works.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience as a General Repairs or Maintenance Surveyor role within Social Housing or Residential Housing
* Strong understanding of building construction, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficient in report writing and record keeping.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
* A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the North London area.
