WGM have recognised the need for an IT Support Analyst to help bolster the existing IT & Digital Services team and provide additional IT service support provision across the business and will be based within our Glasgow head office. The purpose of this role is to join a growing IT Team, helping deliver excellent IT Service to our customers. We are looking for someone to join the team with a can-do approach, technical experience, and exemplary customer service skills.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Provide 2nd line support to all staff across all WGM locations.
* Managing Service Desk tickets through ITSM tools.
* Prioritise workload effectively between BAU and any project work.
* Device Management – through Intune ensuring security and compliance is maintained.
* End User / Infrastructure Troubleshooting leading to fault resolution.
* Software Management – manage Software deployments, non-standard software renewals, procurement & licensing as well as fault diagnosis & liaison with 3rd party vendors.
* Active Directory Maintenance (AD & AAD) – perform user detail changes when needed to maintain accuracy of this important resource.
* Peripheral item management - maintaining stock levels, issuing new items to staff and maintaining records.
* Licence portal - procurement of new software licences as and when needed.
* Liaise with 3rd parties regarding old equipment disposal.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar IT position, you will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience of configuring and managing a Microsoft 365 environment including User Management, Device Management, Endpoint Security & Compliance, as well as Knowledge of basic networking – DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP (experience with Meraki desirable).
