The Commercial Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the commercial and administrative operations of the hotel, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service delivery. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage day-to-day office functions, coordinate with various departments, and contribute to the hotel's strategic commercial goals.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the daily operations of the commercial office to ensure smooth workflow.
2. Manage contracts, records, and correspondence related to commercial activities.
3. Maintain accurate and organised documentation of budgets, schedules, and operational reports.
4. Supervise office staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
5. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that maximise revenue and market share.
6. Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
7. Work closely with revenue management to optimise room rates and occupancy levels.
8. Conduct regular comp set price checks to stay ahead of the market.
9. Foster strong relationships with corporate clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
10. Act as the main point of contact for commercial inquiries and client concerns, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
11. Represent the hotel in client meetings and negotiations.
Qualifications
1. Strong leadership and organisational skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
3. Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue management.
4. Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Microsoft).
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in corporate client management and sales strategy development.
2. Knowledge of local and international hospitality trends and regulations.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial or administrative management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
