We are looking to strengthen our SHEQ team with a Head of Quality based at our Anglian Water, Peterborough office with hybrid working available. Due to the significant increase in the capital Programme within the one Alliance, the Head of Quality is a new role which will be responsible for collaborating with the other Heads of, to ensure the consistent application of the SHEQ strategy and SHEQ implementation plan. Within the SHEQ team, accepting subject matter advice, and support from the SHEQ Management Systems Manager, the Procurement SHEQ Advisor, and SHEQ Skills & Competence Lead. Key responsibilities will include: Develop and implement a cutting-edge Quality Strategy that aligns with the one Alliance’s ambitious objectives. Lead and inspire a team of Quality professionals, driving high standards across engineering, design, and construction. Ensure compliance with industry-leading certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and regulatory requirements. Embed a culture of continuous improvement, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive quality performance. Act as a champion for quality assurance, risk management, and performance analytics—leveraging key tools like PowerBI and AMS. Collaborate across departments, working with SHEQ, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to maintain the highest standards. About You Essential Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of construction techniques (especially in the water sector) Experience developing and delivering Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) People leadership skills – managing multi-disciplinary teams & inspiring collaboration Experience managing audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements CSCS competence card and Lead Auditor qualification (preferred) About Us MWH Treatment is an integrated design and build provider working in the water sector.
