We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our friendly Cardiac Physiology team in Cardiology. The department delivers various diagnostic investigations across the Trust's sites, as well as delivering a busy pacing service at our Wycombe Hospital site. We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual who would like to support our cardiology team by providing efficient administrator services, including booking and reception desk cover as required.
The successful candidate will be a team player as well as being able to work independently and use their initiative to resolve challenges. Good communication skills are essential as the role involves liaison with a wide range of people including clinical staff, patients, medics and other administrators within the wider cardiology SDU. Previous administration experience is preferred, along with strong IT and organisational skills. The role will involve working with confidential information so a knowledge of data protection is an advantage. Although NHS experience is preferred, full training will be provided alongside opportunities for personal development. Due to the day to day variation in the role, the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
