The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop, contributing to the maintenance and repair of equipment, and supporting various projects as needed. Responsibilities Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the assembly of components and machinery according to specifications. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions. Document work performed and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. Your profile Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics. Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
