Due to expansion in the business and also the increasing need for regulatory and environmental compliance, Sonik Sports is looking to hire a Product Documentation Manager who has a strong interest in sustainability and regulatory affairs. The role will work within the Operations Team from a quality perspective but will require working closely alongside the Product Development and Design team. As a small team, we also offer the opportunity to work and support other areas of the business allowing the individual to expand their business experience.
The role:
* Maintain and update Product Information Management (PIM) files across all brands
* Monitor, maintain and stay on top of changes to safety and environmental regulations across UK & EU; E.G. GPSR, C-BAM
* Update and maintain safety documentation for all products across our three brands, ensuring they meet the latest safety regulations
* Ensure all product documentation stays compliant with current safety laws and industry standards.
* Work closely with product teams to gather necessary information and keep safety documents accurate.
* Regularly review and audit existing documents to keep them up to date.
* Develop and maintain clear templates and guidelines for consistency across all products.
* Stay informed on safety regulations and update documents as needed.
* Serve as the go-to person for all safety documentation questions incl. packaging across all brands
* Support sales office with export documentation (EU outbound) and Customer service support where required.
Skills & Attributes:
* Well-presented and organised
* Microsoft Office proficient
* A good communicator at all levels, both written and oral
* Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
* Excellent at planning and prioritising with a strong attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
* Able to analyse information, report findings and recommend plans of action required
* Knowledge of PIM systems would be advantageous
* Experience in data management and reporting within a packaging or compliance-related role (desirable).
* Previous experience in regulatory affairs, supply chain auditing, or environmental compliance (desirable).
