Position Summary:
This role is critical in ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of equipment, parts, and materials necessary for product assembly and customization. The Procurement Manager will develop and execute procurement strategies in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring smooth production operations and supply chain continuity.
Procurement Strategy and Sourcing:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company goals and values.
2. Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and establish strong relationships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality product parts.
3. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and new technologies for potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to understand product specifications and requirements.
Commercial and Contract Management:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms.
2. Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes.
3. Oversee contract renewals or terminations as necessary.
Supplier Relationship Management:
1. Maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, fostering open communication.
2. Implement regular supplier performance reviews, focusing on quality, delivery times, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Collaborate on solutions to improve procurement processes and customer outcomes.
4. Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
Supplier Due Diligence:
1. Conduct thorough due diligence on suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
2. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for supply chain risks.
3. Maintain and update the approved supplier database based on performance audits.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
1. Use data analytics to monitor key procurement and inventory KPIs.
2. Generate reports to guide decision-making and strategic initiatives.
3. Identify areas for improvement using data-driven solutions.
4. Present regular procurement reports on spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
