A Semi Senior Accountant is required for a growing, medium-sized and established Accountancy Practice in Luton, Bedfordshire within the established accounts team.
This Accounts role would suit a part qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of practice experience who is looking for a well-rounded tax, pensions, and accounts role.
The role will predominantly be preparing and reviewing accounts for clients within the medical sector, GP's, medical partnerships, and private medical practices.
Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview
The successful Semi Senior will have a mixture of experience in all disciplines, including general accounts, VAT, tax returns, and experience in partnership and LTD company accounts.
Accounts preparation for client types up to and including larger sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies for senior or manager review.
Review the work of more junior team members and make any necessary adjustments.
Deal directly with clients to clarify outstanding matters.
Ensure all follow-up points identified on review are dealt with.
Experience with IRIS is highly advantageous.
NHS pensions experience would be a great asset.
Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements
A minimum of 3 years experience in an accountancy practice.
Actively studying for ACCA or ACCA qualified.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in the medical sector is advantageous.
