Senior Contracts Manager - Building Services Location: Birmingham Office with the need to travel to site Contract Type: Permanent Our client, a leading roofing and building services company in England and Wales, is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee all aspects of contract negotiations, obligations, and implementation. Position Overview As the Senior Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of contracts, maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and managing the financial aspects of contracts. You will work closely with management, supervisors, and foremen to plan contracts, manage resources, and achieve productivity targets. Responsibilities Negotiate contracts and advise management on contract-related matters Supervise contract implementation to ensure optimal efficiency Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Adhere to company procedures and objectives Manage financial aspects of contracts, including cost management, valuation processes, and invoice queries Plan contracts and manage labour and materials on-site Document additional works and attend pre-start meetings Set productivity targets and compile checklists and status reports Liaise with clients and confirm snagging items Lead the team by example and manage supervisors and foremen Requirements Experience in managing projects in a similar industry Good working knowledge of contract conditions, regulations, program and risk management, and cost control Full UK Driving License Previous experience in managing multiple sites Ability to prioritise work and influence and coach at all levels IT proficiency Desirable qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS Card, 1st Aid at Work, Working at Height, Hot Works, CISRS Scaffold Inspection, FASET Netting Inspection, and Asbestos Awareness (training can be provided) Company Overview Our client is a well-established roofing and building services company committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance with health and safety regulations.
