Position: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Mainstream Junior School, Slough
Salary: £83.40 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and making a positive impact on their learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at a mainstream junior school in Slough. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for someone with prior experience working with SEND children in UK schools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support students with special educational needs (SEND) within a mainstream classroom setting.
2. Provide tailored support to ensure students can access the curriculum effectively.
3. Assist with the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) and other interventions.
4. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to meet the needs of students.
5. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback as necessary.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key Requirements:
1. At least 6 months prior experience working with SEND children in UK schools.
2. A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
4. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
