O’Connor Fencing Ltd are looking for a business administrator to join their team Within this role you will be working in a busy office environment providing reception and administrative support. Established in 1979 O’Connor Fencing Ltd has grown to be on e of the specialist market leaders in the supply and installation of security fencing. O'Connor fencing operate from Whitehaven in West Cumbria where the offices and workshops are housed under one roof in a purpose built facility of over 45,000 sq ft. O'Connor Fencing travel the length and breadth of the United Kingdom providing a service that is second to none and they pride themselves in providing cost effective security solutions delivered in a timely manner. Key responsibilities Purchase Orders – typing up and in-putting onto the company system Purchase Ledger – Processing Invoices and inputting onto Sage Sales Invoices – Processing Sales Invoices on Sage. Supplier payments – processing weekly/Monthly supplier payments Security Clearance Forms – Sellafield/BAE Upkeeping of staff Holidays requests Payroll – Preparation of Employee Timesheets Training – Updating and booking all training requirements including making sure no training expires. Quotation and Letter typing HR – Upkeep of all personnel records and processing of new starters All other general administration duties including answering the phone Skills and Qualities Good communication skills Good team player Good experience in Sage 50 accounts/Word and Excel (although some training will be given) To be confident to work on their own initiative Working hours Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm Annual Leave Entitlement 23 Days but 7 must be taken to cover Christmas close down. Qualifications GCSE Maths and English C/4 minimum or Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths and desirable IT. Benefits
