Learning Support Assistant Oxford £13.65 per hour We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Oxford, working across SEN education settings and playing a key role in encouraging and supporting students to enable them to get as much as they can from their learning. Your role will include: Support the mental, physical, social and cultural development of students, preparing them for adult life. Utilise excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues. Provide individually tailored support to students in collaboration with the Class Teacher and Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. Assist in the delivery of engaging teaching and learning activities tailored to each student’s needs. Model best practices to foster successful learning and personal growth for young people Encourage and enable students to develop safer and more effective ways of communicating their needs. Applicants will need to be trained and experienced in learning support or care and support work, ideally with experience of working with learning disabilities and autism within an education setting.
