IT Manager - Part-time Home-based Microsoft 365 - SharePoint
This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a part-time, home-based IT Manager to join our charity nonprofit client as they invest in their IT team.
Role Details
1. Job Title: IT Manager
2. Location: Largely home-based, need to be able to travel to London City 10-20% of the time
3. Permanent role: Initially funded for 2 years
4. Working hours: 21 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
5. Technical stack: Microsoft 365 - SharePoint
6. Focus of the role: Project management: delivering Microsoft 365 - SharePoint and managing 1 person largely remotely
Job Purpose
The IT Manager will be responsible for supporting the Head of Systems and Technology in leading and having oversight of all systems and technology-related matters by managing the charity's IT systems and infrastructure and line managing the IT Officer. This role involves managing both technical aspects and supporting the day-to-day IT needs of the organization, enabling us to support our members and the communities they serve. The position requires a mix of strategic planning, hands-on technical support, and collaboration with key stakeholders to optimize our technology resources.
Requirements
1. Line management - can manage a person remotely
2. Experience: project management background
3. Industry: must have nonprofit/charity experience
4. Skills: Microsoft 365 - SharePoint
5. Availability: can attend the London office (EC3) as needed, expectation is once or twice a week for the first 3-6 months and then twice a month (roughly)
