We are looking for an Accountant who will provide financial support and partner with the Commercial and Operations Teams in the delivery of Business Stream targets.
What you'll do:
* Support the Finance Team with accounting, reporting, and forecasting including production of management accounts.
* Production of the Building Operating Unit Financial papers.
* Work with Group Finance and Finance Service Delivery to ensure financial reporting timetable and controls adherence.
* Balance Sheet / Cash flow modelling.
* Support with reconciliation process.
* WIP reporting and action plans.
* Support the ongoing forecasting process.
* Support Commercial Business Stream 1 & 2 projects through project reviews, F&R process & project requests.
* Support the data provision and actualization of CVR with the commercial team.
* Ensure strict adherence to revenue recognition policy and processes throughout.
* Internal audit support - right cost to the right place at right time, in line with the contract.
* Contribute to the external audit process and liaising with audit teams as necessary.
* Participate and actively contribute to functional system and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Part Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
* Good Excel skills (Pivot, lookup, formula, formatting).
* Highly motivated, committed individual with a track record of delivering good quality finance outputs.
* Analytical review and presenting to senior leaders.
* Working in JV's or good knowledge of JV arrangements.
* Knowledge of construction and/or general contracting or long-term project accounting.
