Axi Recruitment is currently supporting a reputable legal firm in Beverley for a Conveyancing Coordinator to join their team, reporting into the Head of Department. This role would suit a Conveyancing Secretary or Assistant looking for their next step up within a Conveyancing Team.
Job Details:
* Conduct a caseload of residential conveyancing matters under the supervision of the Department Head.
* Liaise with clients and third parties including lenders, estate agents, search companies etc. by phone, correspondence, or email.
* Use portals and a bespoke case management system to deliver an exceptional client journey through their residential conveyancing transaction.
* Perform client and matter due diligence including conflict checks, AML identification and source of funds/wealth checks.
* Prepare legal documents relating to searches, mortgage offers and property title.
* Prepare and execute exchange of contracts and completion.
* Post-completion work including Land Registry applications.
* Manage matters and accounts including risk assessments and general filing.
* Operate office systems to comply with the terms of the Office Manual and LEXCEL requirements.
Experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in a residential Conveyancing Assistant role or similar.
* Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Office, and proficiency using a case management system.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability confidently speak on the telephone.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage cases and meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
