Full-time: 35 hours per week Fixed Term: 12 months We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and talented researcher in Health Informatics. This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The Opportunity: The successful candidate would lead on a project that addresses several of the UK’s top ten priorities in epilepsy research. Your skills and attributes for success: PhD or equivalent with related work experience in a relevant discipline e.g. Medical Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology or Public Health. Experience with successful application for access to Scotland wide datasets Experience with working with eDRIS to obtained linked datasets Experience in the application of statistical methods to address public health research questions (e.g. use of regression models). Excellent working knowledge of a statistical software (R or SPSS or STATA preferred). £40,247 to £47,874 per annum (Grade 7)
