We are pleased to be working with an excellent, reputable company based in Leeds, City Centre who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This will be a standalone role within the finance team, you will be reporting into the finance manager, but will attend finance meetings to provide reports and updates on the ledger/debt.
Duties will include:
* Chasing payments via telephone and email across all sites
* Performing credit checks for new applicants
* Opening new accounts
* Processing weekly debtor downloads for management meetings
* Raising invoices and credit notes
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Dealing with insurance claims
* Matching invoices to credits
* Reconciliation of cash and posting to the ledger
* Other adhoc duties
