Cadent is looking for a dynamic Property Energy Officer to lead our efforts in reducing utility spend and driving our journey towards carbon neutrality. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative energy management, working on a 6-month contract to implement strategies that will shape the future of our estate. You'll oversee utility contracts, promote a positive energy culture, and lead the rollout of our energy strategy. You'll also foster emerging technologies, build a network of contacts, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you'll need proven experience in energy management and optimisation, strong contract management skills, and a collaborative approach. Effective communication and project management skills are crucial, along with the ability to influence key stakeholders. What You'll Need:
- Energy Management Expertise: Proven experience in energy management and optimisation with tangible improvements.
- Contract Management Skills: Key expertise in managing contracts and negotiations.
- Collaborative Approach: Commitment to team objectives and partnership opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders in energy decision-making.
- Effective Communication: Clear, impactful written and oral communication skills.
- Project Management: Strong skills in leading and managing end-to-end processes.
- Technical Qualifications: Qualified to a degree level or equivalent technical qualifications.
