We have a full-time position for an Occupational Therapist in our CAMHS eating disorders team, working within a supportive Multi-disciplinary team with close networks to other OT's within Eating disorders and wider CAMHS. The CAMHS Eating Disorders Team is research active and has engaged in some exciting local, national and international research opportunities. You will play a significant role in helping us achieve the team vision of delivering high quality, innovative and effective treatments for young people diagnosed with eating disorders Prior experience of working with eating disorders, mental health and/or child and adolescent mental health is desirable. However, you will be provided the appropriate training and support to be able to carry out this role with success. You will work closely with the pathway lead alongside other senior clinicians in the CAMHS Eating Disorders Team. Main duties of the job Provide a range of Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment for young people and their Parent/Carers following the OT process Undertake routine and profession specific outcomes measures Lead and support the development of clinical initiatives and quality improvements Completion of OT reports, individualised care plans and risk assessments Provide consultation to MDT and external services to support the young person Clinical supervision of OTs within the service Practice educator role facilitating students on placement.
