Cranleigh STEM is proud to be working with a leading independent supplier of premium flavour ingredients to the global food and beverage industries This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Technical Regulatory Officer to join the team on a 12-month FTC and support the delivery of exceptional technical services. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing operational and administrative support, ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Access to your own transport is essential, as our client’s site is not accessible via public transport. Key Responsibilities Administration: Manage data entry and maintain accurate material, product, and regulatory information in company systems. Respond to customer inquiries by providing product information, completing questionnaires, and issuing specifications. Support the maintenance of Kosher and Halal certifications, ensuring supplier certificates are updated and recorded. Handle document control processes, including internal documentation updates and general record-keeping. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across both company sites. Communication: Provide technical information to internal teams and customers as directed by the department manager. Address issues and report non-conformances promptly. Health and Safety: Adhere to and promote company health and safety standards. Report incidents and hazards, ensuring a safe working environment. Projects and Improvement: Identify and address areas for improvement in collaboration with the department team. Support company-wide goals through active participation in improvement projects. Training and Development: Pursue relevant training opportunities to enhance skills and departmental performance. Assist in the creation of written procedures and mentor less experienced staff as needed. Requirements Education & Experience: Degree in Food Science and Nutrition or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Adobe. Previous experience in a technical department within the food or flavour industry is desirable. Skills & Competencies: Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities. High attention to detail and a proactive, independent approach to work. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise across all levels of the business and with external customers. Behaviours: Collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
