Indigo Herbs is a well-established manufacturer and online retailer of natural health & nutrition products. We sell both nationally and internationally to retail and trade customers. We manufacture products onsite under our own brand and sell guest brands, offering over 2000 product lines.
Opportunity
We are looking for an individual to join our busy Fulfilment & Customer Service departments located in Glastonbury. We currently operate between 09:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and 10:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays. This role will be between 15-20 hours per week over various days with overtime available for holiday and sickness cover.
Job Type: Permanent contract (15 - 20 hours per week)
Salary: £11.60 per hour plus paid breaks

Responsibilities & Duties
Fulfilment:
Working as an Indigo Herbs Fulfilment Operative is a critical position in our online retail business. You will be working in our efficient fulfillment team sending out orders through our computerised systems, liaising with production and customer services to ensure a smooth consumer experience. You will use stock control systems to manage stock levels, stock check, receive goods in to the department, and weigh up the post. This is a target driven environment, and you should have some experience of working at pace and meeting targets.
The main roles in this job include:
* As a picker, working off pick lists to accurately pick items for customer orders.
* As a packer, sending out customer orders through our computerised system and ensuring a positive customer experience.
This is a physical job, where you will be on your feet all day and working towards targets. Full training will be provided. We offer a generous staff discount on our products along with a friendly and supportive working environment.
Customer Service:
As a member of the Indigo Herbs Customer Service team, you will be part of our public facing, voice to the customer. Some of the duties involve:
* Answering Customer emails, messages and phone calls.
* Dealing with issues with orders and delivery.
* Taking orders over the phone.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent punctuality
* Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn how to use new systems
* Good interpersonal and organisational skills
* Good communication skills (spoken and written English)
* Good teamwork
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and bring a positive attitude to work
* Some experience in Customer Service
Training will be given for both roles.
