Salary : Circa £36,000 per annum

Your Service
Bromley Croft is our newly renovated supported living service consisting of 9 individual apartments with internal and external communal spaces. Supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs that some may find challenging. We are looking for a self-starter to join the Consensus team to be at the centre and development of a brand new service situated in the heart of the local community.

From ensuring the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence, to encouraging personal growth & development of the team – every day is unique. Through leadership and support, our Service Managers make a difference to their colleagues’ lives and the people we support – and are an integral part of ensuring everyone at Consensus has the opportunity to flourish.
1. Enable the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential.
2. Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career.
3. Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality.
4. Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled.
5. Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, ensuring that the business is run in an efficient and responsible manner.
6. Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
15. Have plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours
16. Be an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge – with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services.
17. Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care – support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is available.
18. Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
19. Be confident, flexible and efficient – you’re happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
