Role Overview: As a Assistant/Fryer in our Takeaway, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, especially perfecting our signature fish and chips. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering a great service for our customers. You must be 18 years of age or older to use the frying equipment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook food, including frying fish, chips, and other menu items to company standards. Ensure food is cooked to order efficiently and served fresh. Assist with food preparation tasks, such as portioning, battering, and prepping ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including equipment and workstations. Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs to the supervisor. Always adhere to food hygiene and health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods. What We’re Looking For: Experience in a kitchen or fryer role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. A hardworking and reliable individual with a passion for cooking.
