Security Systems Technical Support Engineer Location: Essex (Office and Remote Support)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 base + Benefits

Your Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:
* Provide remote technical assistance via email, phone, and remote PC login sessions.
* Conduct on-site support, diagnosing and resolving complex issues and commissioning systems installed by customers.
* Support the sales team with:
o Site surveys, reviewing specifications and drawings.
o Preparing quotations and AutoCAD drawings (not essential that you have previous experience as training will be provided) for first and second fixing solutions.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
About You:
We’re ideally looking for someone with:
* Previous technical support experience or an interest in doing this.
* Strong technical knowledge in electronics, IT, or security industry equipment.
* A fair understanding of computer hardware and software.
* Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
* Comfortable working 5 days a week in an office-based role.
We’re particularly interested if you have:
* Experience as an on-site engineer looking to transition to an office-based role.
* Knowledge of computing, IT, or networking.
* Experience with security systems such as intercoms, access control, CCTV, fire, or HVAC.
* A general passion for technology and its applications.
* Any knowledge or experience with Fermax systems.
