Let us tell a bit about the opportunity
To lead the day to day support to the Asset Finance Business line in respect of all documentation queries arising in the ordinary course of business, applying a commercial approach whilst keeping the Bank safe, working closely with Risk, Operations and Sales.
What will your day look like?
* Provide on-going technical and commercial support to the business in relation to all asset finance queries in a timely manner
* Lead negotiator in more complex transactions and legal documentation
* Administer the external legal advice expenditure within budget, working in conjunction with Group Legal
* Manage and control the business’ documentation suite including trading agreements
* Keep abreast of the commercial marketplace and how this may affect Asset Finance
* Lead the introducers set-up, sign-off and annual review process, working closely with the Risk and Sales teams
* Building and developing professional relationships with the business stakeholders, Line Managers to challenge existing documentation and processes whilst ensuring that they are and remain fully compliant

* Commercial understanding of the Asset Finance marketplace
* Excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal and commercial skills
* Previous experience of the asset finance industry
* Ability to deal with multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Ability to challenge the status quo in order to improve the customer experience
* Accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
