Our client, a rapidly growing, family-owned regional house builder with an outstanding reputation for quality and collaboration, is looking for a talented Commercial Manager to contribute to its continued growth and success.
About the Role:
As a Commercial Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director, managing a portfolio of new build housing sites valued between £6M and £18M. This is a unique opportunity to step away from the larger PLC environment and join a close-knit, dynamic team that focuses on delivering high-quality developments across Kent and Sussex.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee multiple new build housing projects (50-100 units per site)
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
3. Manage the financial and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring profitability
4. Work closely with the Managing Director on strategic growth initiatives
5. Contribute to the company’s ambition to double turnover by 2030 and expand production to 500 units per year
About You:
1. Proven experience in commercial management, ideally within residential construction
2. Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets and forecasts
3. Experience working on housing projects valued between £6M and £18M
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills
