Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Encourage students to develop a love for reading and writing. PSHE Teacher: Plan and deliver PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic) education lessons. Create a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere. Address topics such as mental health, relationships, and personal development. Promote students' social and emotional well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to PSHE education. Expectations: Professional Conduct: Uphold the ethos, policies, and practices of the school. Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours. Safeguard pupils' well-being by following relevant statutory guidance and school policies. Knowledge and Understanding: Keep knowledge and skills up to date through self-evaluation and professional development. Understand the needs of all pupils and contribute effectively to their support. Apply subject and curriculum knowledge to support teachers and pupils. Teaching and Learning: Adopt strategies to support teaching and learning, including for pupils with special educational needs. Promote inclusion and encourage participation in learning and extracurricular activities. Use effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Relevant experience teaching English and PSHE. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
