Job Description: Quality Assurance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager / Quality Manager from a manufacturing, engineering, mechanical, or electronics environment to join our team.
Responsibilities
1. Drive improvements in all aspects of quality assurance throughout the organisation and supply base.
2. Champion and foster a culture of continuous improvement through internal auditing, working with process leaders to identify tools that increase efficiency and productivity.
3. Monitor and report on production and in-service quality issues both internally and externally.
4. Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and lead the corrective and preventative action processes with suppliers.
5. Manage our Engineering Change Request (ECR) procedure.
6. Utilise process mapping and quality management tools.
7. Possess Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certification.
8. Have experience with electromechanical assembly, mechanical, electrical, software systems, and manual assembly processes.
9. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
10. Be proficient in quality analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and lean manufacturing.
11. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate problem solving with production staff and suppliers.
12. Be a strong communicator, organized, and possess good time management skills.
