About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and driven Maintenance Manager to oversee our portfolio of the best gardens and lead a talented team of gardeners and maintenance staff. This role offers the chance to work on remarkable properties while driving innovation in best practices and garden maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a skilled team of garden maintenance professionals, ensuring seamless operations. Project Oversight: Oversee maintenance projects from start to finish, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality and client satisfaction. Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of service and addressing their bespoke needs. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and manage a preventive maintenance plan to ensure all gardens are healthy and vibrant year-round. Systems & Compliance: Manage maintenance management systems and ensure all activities adhere to health and safety regulations. Resource Management: Oversee equipment maintenance, schedules, and resource allocation to maximise efficiency. Quoting & Sales: Provide detailed quotes for soft landscaping projects and contribute to sales initiatives. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior maintenance or managerial role within the gardening, landscaping, or horticultural sectors. A relevant qualification in horticulture, landscape management, or similar (e.g., RHS Level 3, NVQ Level 3). Extensive knowledge of plant care, pest control, irrigation systems, and garden machinery. Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster excellent client relationships. Project management experience with a keen eye for detail and planning. Knowledge of eco-friendly or sustainable landscaping practices (preferred). A full UK driving licence (required). Why Join Us?
